So bowling was Tuesday night, and I did poorly again. I’m at the point of not caring anymore. I’m having a great time and isn’t that all that really matters?
We went to Chili’s for dinner and Eric was spazzing out over what he thought was extremely bright lighting. I thought it was too cold, and Michelle was fine, which is bizarre since she’s always cold. Eric and I had some drinks (2 each) at dinner, so we were feeling good by the time bowling got started, and you know we just kept on drinking. Was there any other choice?
I didn’t get drunk, but I did have a nice buzz for a while. Eric, I’m sure, was drunk. We arrived a little late, and then I was in line at the bar, so I missed a majority of the practice time. We lost all three games to Andy’s team. We lost the first game by 13 points, the second by 29 points, and the third by 55 (including handicaps). So we didn’t do too horribly… actually if I had bowled as well as I did last season, we could have won.
It was a fun night of bowling and I’m glad we finally got to bowl against a sociable team, or err, well Andy was sociable. Next week we bowl against the loud lesbians, which should be fun as well. They like to scream and yell and all of that business.
Last night I didn’t do much at all. I tried to watch a movie I got from Netflix, but it was SO horrible that I had to shut it off. I couldn’t force myself to watch it. Usually if I start a movie, I have to finish it even if it’s bad, but this one was beyond bad. I turned it off and watched that new Freddie Prince Jr sitcom. The show was actually kind of funny and he’s a little bit cute in it. Also that Brian Austin Green fellow is in it and he’s kind of funny too.
The only thing that bothers me about the show is that Freddie is supposed to be Mexican. How do they expect us to believe him as a Mexican???? We’re not blind and deaf. On the show, his grandmother (who lives with him) only speaks in Spanish, yet Freddie doesn’t even have an accent! I did look him up on IMDB and found out that he’s 1/4 Puerto Rican, 1/4 Hungarian, and 1/2 Italian, so he’s not white, but he’s CLEARLY not Mexican.
I guess it’s kind of like how we’re supposed to believe John (the hot gardener on Desperate Housewives) is white. I remember the first time they showed his parents on the show, I was like, “WHAT?!?!? Those crackers are his parents? Nope. That’s ridiculous!”
I also watched the Martha Stewart apprentice show, which was kind of lame. It’s identical to the Donald version, in just about every possible way, except that she fires people nicely (even a little apologetic about it), then she hand writes them a letter saying goodbye. The letter writing thing is lame, and it needs to go away.
At one point last night her adviser told her not to lose her patience and she said, “Oh, I don’t want to lose my patience.” The she turns and faces all the apprentice people and says, “You guys really don’t want me to lose my patience.” I was on my couch screaming, “LOSE IT MARTHA! SNAP OFF!” OMG that would have made for great TV.
OK I’ve run out of things to write about. I’m done here.

YOU Said: 1/4 Puerto Rican, 1/4 Hungarian, and 1/2 Italian, so he’s not white
I Say: Since when did any of those ethnicities become races? Freddie SR and Jr are both White men claiming 1/4 of an Hispanic culture.
