new gallery

Posted by Tomithey on September 22nd, 2005

I installed another version of the Gallery software on my site. So now I have two galleries and I need to decide which one to keep. The new one has some great features and seems to be more customizable, but it’s also a pain in the butt. It’s got some bugs and it’s still in development. Check them both out and let me know which one you like better.

She was totally cute and she reminds me of Javi’s pretty blond cousin (I forgot her name) that I met in Corpus. I see her there a lot and she should totally be my best friend, except I’m not really taking on new people right now so she’s going to have to wait.

Cutest babies ever!

Posted by Tomithey on September 20th, 2005

Aren’t these the cutest babies ever?? They are Maya Isabel and Citlali Alicia, and they are my friend Gina’s babies. Maya will be one year old in December and Citlali is five.

BBBS Volunteer Appreciation Party

Posted by Tomithey on September 20th, 2005

My photo gallery on my website was down for an eternity (since Friday) because I was trying to convert it to the new version and messed it up. My hosting company took forever to restore it. It is now back up and I have uploaded the pictures from the Big Brothers Big Sisters event I attended on Sunday.

weirdos at the gym

Posted by Tomithey on September 20th, 2005

After the gym, I went home and watched Mermaids. I hadn’t seen it in a long time, so I added it to my Netflix queue. Cher is awesome and I would watch her in anything. It was kind of odd to see Christina Ricci so young. She has never really been a pretty girl, and it’s all because of that odd shaped head of hers.

Low tech phones

Posted by Tomithey on September 19th, 2005

It was totally like, “Oh my GOD, you have to manually pull your antenna out? What kind of phone is that?!?!?!?!” And there I was with my head hung low all traumatized at being called out in public over my low tech phone. I woke up and it was the first thing I thought about and I started cracking up and how ridiculous it was that I was so embarassed in the dream.

volunteer appreciation

Mark wasn’t out, and Thomas had on sneakers, so I had to branch out and dance with other people. I danced with Lee, Dustin, Will, Doug, some random hot bald guy, some straight girl, Fernando, Harvey, Chad, and Andy B. Some random straight girl came up to me to tell me that her and her friends had been watching me all night and they thought I was the best dancer there. It’s funny that when girls come to talk to me there, they always have to announce that they are either straight or gay. Um? Does it really matter? Either way, you’re still a woman.

6th St for Bourbon St

I finally got information as to where I’m volunteering tonight. Check it out at:

If you want to come and donate money… it would be awesome!

The Pledge

Posted by Tomithey on September 16th, 2005

What’s funny if that I always read about how people (in favor of the pledge) say it’s not a prayer, and the words “under God” aren’t that big of a deal. Well, if it’s not a big deal, then just remove the phrase and restore the pledge back to the way it was originally written. We should NEVER have put the words “under God” into the pledge in the first place. That violated the constitution by combining church and state.

Gallery gone bye bye

I also get annoyed when people do the “oh you haven’t had your morning coffee” routine. Ugh, that’s dumb. I don’t drink coffee, and even if I did, I highly doubt that it would determine the mood and outcome of my day. How ’bout maybe I just haven’t prepared myself for your onslaught of stupidity yet, how about you go have your coffee and come back when your brain kicks in… since obviously yours runs on something other than intelligence.
