In other news I had a weird dream this weekend that I was talking to my friend (I don’t know which one it was) and my friend was making fun of me because my cell phone didn’t have an automatic antenna and that I had to manually lift it up when I made calls. In the dream I was so ashamed of my low tech phone with the manual antenna.
It was totally like, “Oh my GOD, you have to manually pull your antenna out? What kind of phone is that?!?!?!?!” And there I was with my head hung low all traumatized at being called out in public over my low tech phone. I woke up and it was the first thing I thought about and I started cracking up and how ridiculous it was that I was so embarassed in the dream.
The weirdest thing about that is that I do frequently wonder why they don’t make phones with automatic antennas. Wouldn’t that be fun? You’d flip open your phone and the antenna would just start telescoping out. That would be the most fun ever.
