Work was busy yesterday and we cut it short at the gym so we could make it to dinner and bowling on time. Of course we over-estimated how much time we needed and ended up with a ton of time to kill.
We went to dinner at El Mercado, which apparently Michelle hates. I am the only person that loves El Mercado??
Bowling was fun! I got to meet Andy and his man, and they were both very nice. They got put on Jonathan’s team which is good because Jonathan doesn’t annoy me or gross me out… which means I can go visit with their team on bowling nights and chat.
I bowled ok, not that great, but not that bad. I got a 138, 146, and a 127. The league decided to use my book average from last season, so my average is 125. That rocks because I have become so much better since then (I bowled on a different league) so I’m totally going to be bowling above my average and kicking butt!
Andy came over to visit with us for a bit and I ended up gettting yelled at by the other team because I didn’t notice it was my turn. Luckily I bowled a strike, so I told them that I did it for them to make my turn go by faster. Then my next turn I bowled another strike, so I dedicated that one to them too.
The league is a lot smaller this season than it was in the past. I’m pretty sure it’s because of the annoying meetings and certain groups of people that take themselves way too serious. That’s fine though, we don’t go to socialize with most of the people anyway. We just go to bowl and have fun.
So we ended up getting four out of seven points last night, and the other team obviously got 3. That put us in 8th place in a league of 16 teams. Ok, that’s all I have to report.
