I have nothing much to report. My Monday was long and boring. Work dragged on for an eternity, then I went to work out. I came home, made some burritos out of leftovers from Sunday, and watched Yin Sin Nan Nu (Eat, Drink, Man, Woman). I was working on finishing my scarf while I was watching it, which was a big mistake.
I did finish the scarf, but now whenever I wear it (if I ever do), I’ll be able to look at it and point at it and say, “See this section right here? This was from when I was watching that Chinese movie with subtitles.” It’s pretty obvious that I quit paying attention to the scarf and spent too much time reading the subtitles.
Crazy fake hair lady at the gym is now going on like 3 weeks with the same fake hairdo. She is really scary. She could be a man.
Today is going to be a long day: work, gym, dinner, bowling. I bet I won’t get home until 11. But the best thing is that there won’t be any smoking in the bowling alley. Yay for smoking bans! I hope the news stations do a report on the ban in a few months. I want them to go back out and interview all those bar owners that were throwing fits and ask them if their business dropped off. From what I can tell by being out on the weekends, things are still just as busy as they were before.
I thought I’d be seeing hordes of people standing outside bars smoking, but there wasn’t. There are a few people here and there, but most of the people I talk to just said they smoke less now. Maybe this will help a lot of people quit smoking altogether… and wouldn’t that be nice?
Next week starts the new season of television shows. I am anxiously awaiting the return of Desperate Housewives and Joey. I’m a little intrigued by the new lawyer show with Chris O’Donnell. I might try and catch a few episodes of that. However, I have been pretty much TV free all summer and I’d like to try to avoid getting back into the habit of watching television again. It’s all crap reality shows and crime/law dramas anyway.

….funny thing about smoke. I can go to the bar and be surrounded, and it doesn’t bother me too bad. But walk through the smoke from a single cigarette (like at Miss Thang’s or whatever they diner I went to today) and my sinuses slam shut like a beartrap.
Chris O’Donnell is a hottie.
What I would like to see is a scarf pic in the banner at the top.
