It’s a slow day on the LJ today… at least on my friend’s list. YAWN. I have nothing to read and I’m sicking of reading about Katrina and all her issues. Not to sound insensitive, but you can only take so much in a day.

Where did I leave off? Hmm, I guess it was yesterday after going to Chuy’s with Dante. I ended up going out Saturday night to RCC. I wasn’t really feeling it though, and I couldn’t get into the groove. It was DEAD empty in there. Actually, when I walked in they weren’t even playing music and everyone was gathered around the TVs watching the UT football game. Is this what I go to gay dance bars for? NO!

Sunday I got up late. I invited Xoch over and I made chicken fajitas, rice, and beans. We watched Monster in Law and did some shopping at Target. I love their $1 section at the front. They had yarn and crochet needles in there for $1 each. So we thought, “why not?” So we bought some yarn and crochet needles and decided to make scarves.

Anyway, so I watched movies and crocheted my scarf. I’ve never owned a scarf, nor have I ever really wanted one. Not too mention we are a long way away from cold days here, but I am so excited about my scarf! I’m super excited that it’s only costing me $3.25 ($2 for two rolls of yarn, $1 for crochet needle, $.25 tax) to make!

It’s very relaxing to do as well. It’s that monotonous kind of work that really calms me, like rolling silverware in a restaurant. Man, that was always my favorite side duty when I waited tables.

Later in the evening, I went to dinner with my sister at PF Changs. So yay for having leftovers for lunch today. MMmmm… chicken fried rice.

Today work is kind of busy, because Dan and Robert are out. I can’t wait to get out of here!
