So I’ve been sitting around watching movies all day. I was too lazy to make something to east, but I really should do that soon. It just seems like such an effort to make something to eat for just me.
I watched two more Pedro Almodovar movies today, Entre Tinieblas and Carne Trémula. Both movies were good and very interesting. I really love Pedro’s films. They all seem to have the same basic element to them; seemingly good people that do very bad things. The majority of his characters tend to have serious flaws.
Carne Trémula was the first one I watched today and I liked it a lot. The summaries on Netflix are always a little off when it comes to foreign films. I think something gets lost in the translation. They had called this movie a thriller. Hmm… maybe they just have a different idea of what a thriller is? Anyway, I liked it and the lead star was kind of hot. He reminded me of someone that I won’t mention.
I watched Entre Tinieblas next and it was a little more light of a movie, but still dark. It’s about a convent and all the sisters are seriously messed up. The mother superior is a herion addict, one of the other nuns does acid, and the rest are just crazy. The nuns all have weird names too, like Sister Rat, Sister Manuer, and Sister Snake.
I don’t know what I’m going to do with the rest of my day. I really should iron stuff to wear next week, but ironing? Come on, how boring is that? I like to save all the boring stuff for Monday nights, because Mondays usually suck anyway.
I have a headache again. I wonder if I’m dying?
