He only played a few of my favorites, and most of the stuff he played I didn’t even know. He also played WAY too many bad cumbias. The only highlights of the night (musically) were getting to dance to Paulina Rubio’s version of Fotos Y Recuerdo, Ana Barbara’s Loca, and The Kumbia Kings remix of Baila Esta Kumbia. He played India’s version of No Debes Jugar, but Rico Suave didn’t want to dance to it because he doesn’t really like salsa.

I made an excellent chicken ceaser salad, which we both scarfed down and had double helpings of. Then we started watching Hitch, which was ok, but a little too unrealistic. These couples falling in love within 3 dates. Blah. It was a little too sugary sweet as well. Or maybe just that the “sweet romantic” parts were just not believable and that’s why they seemed insincere. If it weren’t for Kevin James and Eva Mendes being in the movie, I wouldn’t have watched it at all… being that I despise Will Smith.

She didn’t scream or cry, which was surprising. I thought she’d at least jump or flinch, but she did really well… other than feeling woozy after it happened. The nose ring looks cute and I’m sure it’ll look cuter after the ink dot washes off and the swelling and redness fade.

The movie was ok, it started off really slow and I was about to turn it off. Richard Ruccolo is in it and he’s the best, so that stopped me from turning it off. It also has very small parts for Lisa Kudrow and Christina Ricci. A third of the way into the movie I started liking it and by the end I was happy with it. It wasn’t great, but it’s not that bad either.
