Friday was my sister’s birthday. I picked up M.Lo and we went to dinner with Michelle, Joe, Liz, and Shane at Razoos. Michelle ordered one of those giant fishbowl alcoholic drinks and we all shared. It was delicious, but we couldn’t finish it. I guess too many of us had to behave since we were driving. Dinner was delicious, but I ate too much and I shouldn’t have since we were going to be going to the Melting Pot for dessert.

Eric, Marrissa, and her husband met us at the Melting Pot for fondue. That stuff was crazy delicious, but OH MY GAWD I ate to much and wanted to purge. I can’t handle that much chocolate. Nobody should! It’s just not right.

After fondue we went to The Main Event for games and such. It’s a big entertainment complex that has bowling, laser tag, put put golf, video games, food, and drinks. We played put put and it was fun, but their course was kind of lame. Most of it was flat and there weren’t any fun windmills or other structure to put through. Plus there was this weird fog in there.

Michelle, Joe, Eric and I went downtown afterward. Michelle and Joe went to Cedar Street, while Eric and I went to Rainbow. It was busy at Rainbow, but none of my usual dance partners were there, so we went to Rain (Why? I don’t know!) for a bit. That place is annoying and so are the people, so we left and went to Fabric. I had never been there and I was impressed with the decor, but not with the crowd. There were about three to four straight women for every man in the bar, and even then, there was only about 25 people in the bar.

So we left there and went to Charlie’s. I waas thinking about how much fun it would be to just dance all night, and completely forgot about all the drama that I went through the last Friday I went there. Eric and I walked around the bar for a bit, checking out the crowd, and I said hi to all my friends. I saw Mad Cow (the evil ex-roommate) and he tried to avoid having to look directly at me, so I made sure to cross right in front of him as much as possible. HA HAHAHAHAH

I had a fun time dancing with my friends, and it was nice seeing Desi and Jose. I hadn’t danced with Desi in forever. There was some mild drama, but I don’t want to get into that.

I wake up at 9:30 to head off to my haircut. I was ten minutes late to my appointment, but luckily she’s usually a little behind, so it worked out.

After my haircut I went to M.Lo’s office to have lunch. I ended up spending about 3 hours at her office eating lunch and reading magazines while she works and we occassionally chatted. I should have been home asleep instead. I left there and went home to nap for two hours, then she came by and we went shopping downtown and went to have some snacks and drinks at El Mercado.

We stopped by Starbucks so I could get something to wake me up. They were doing a promotion for their new music server thing, so they gave us a free card to make one CD with 7 songs of our choice. We ended up being there for about two hours looking for music and making our CD. Yay for free music. They don’t have a lot of current stuff, but I found a bunch of older songs that I like.

After that she went home, and I went home and relaxed for a bit then got ready to go downtown to Rainbow to dance. I was exhausted, but I really wanted to dance. I had a good time at Rainbow, but I was not able to dance as much as usual. My legs were tired from dancing before and possibly because I hadn’t eaten much all day. I had two tacos and some queso.

Sunday I got up late-ish and went to hang out with Mark. I spent about 9 hours at his place hanging out and swapping music. I got a bunch of stuff that I had been wanting and some stuff that I like that I would never have thought to download or buy. Yays!

Work is already stressing me out today. It’s going to be a long week.

Something to say?
