Last night was the first night of Two-Step classes. Michelle and I went to have dinner at Pok-E-Jo’s before class and then did a little shopping. She bought the cutest shoes at Emeralds. She also tried, unsuccessfully, to get me to tell her what I got her for her birthday.

We got to Rainbow a lot earlier than Xoch and Eric, who were supposed to meet us at 7:30 but showed up closer to 8. We took turns dancing with each other. I danced with Michelle and I were leads and we took turns leading Xoch and Eric.

Two-Step classes are so much easier than Shuffle. The only problem I have is that I normally do a different two-step, or maybe it’s a triple-step, so it’s kind of hard to break myself of that and do it their way.

Xoch has been teasing me about how I’m going to end up dancing differently from taking all these classes. Neither of us wants to end up dancing like the ballroom dancers that we so despise. They have that rigidness to their moves and they look uptight. I don’t think there’s any danger in that happening. I’m too much of a goof off to ever be that strict with my moves.

Tonight I’m going to be seeing my little brother again. I haven’t decided yet what we will be doing. I need to figure that out today.
