Last night was the last night of Triple Two-Step/Shuffle classes. I got there a little while before Eric and ended up playing pool with some stranger from the bar. Luckily neither of us were any good at it, so it wasn’t that embarrassing.

As far as dance class goes, Eric and I did really well together and I learned a lot. We learned some fun spins and turns last night, but I had trouble on the last one. It pains me to go slow and so I kept rushing through the steps and it was messing us up. It’s so much fun doing this though. Eric and I laugh like crazy the entire time.

We mess up a lot and we just laugh about it and try again. Juan was a total sweetheart and gave us lots of coaching. We both did really well dancing with him, we just had problems with each other. Not that it matters, because we have lots of fun trying.

Today, after work, I went to pick Xoch up at work and we went to Town Lake (which is actually the Colorado River) to go “jogging”, which ended up being a walk because my throat was all itchy and dry and all that heavy breathing would have killed me… plus you know, I have the bum knee.

There were lots of attractive men on the trails and of course most of them were gay, and boys I’ve seen out at the club. I swear this town is being overrun with the homos. The walk was ok, but LONG. At the end of the walk, as we were walking to the car, we happened to finish walking right next to Gilbert… whom you may remember I had a little thing for back in January-ish and we talked a lot but never managed to get a date together.

I avoided making eye contact with him and he was doing the same. Xoch was trying to get me to talk to him because she said he was hot. I was not up for that because it would have been one of those weird awkward conversations where neither person knows what to say and you just want it to be over.

Besides… the boy lives in BUDA! That’s like an hour away from me. I don’t even like dating boys downtown, I’m certainly not driving all the way to Buda. Mmmm no.

So after the walk we went to Schlotzky’s. I had intended on eating a salad, but the walk made me crazy hungry so I had a medium sized ham and cheese sandwich and a lemon bar. It was mmm mmm good. We went to Whole Foods afterwards to find Xoch some ice cream. It was my first time being in the new location and it’s nice and all, but I don’t see myself going there very often. The hippies freak me out.

There was this guy we passed in the parking lot (he was driving by as we were walking in) and I told Xoch he was gay, but I wasn’t interested. Later we saw him in the store and he was BE-YOU-TE-FUL. So we stalked him around the store. She wasn’t believing his gayness, but when we left we saw him standing at a table of CLEARLY HOMOSEXUAL men chatting, so I was right… HA HA HA!

I’m home now and in desperate need of a shower, but I’m not ready yet. I need to shave and iron and all that. Blech. Ok later peeps!
