It’s 2am and I just got home from Rainbow. What an interesting night. The bar wasn’t very busy, so I was happy to have more room on the dance floor, unfortunately DJ TJ was playing a lot of slow stuff, so I didn’t dance as much as I wanted. There were also a lot of crazy drunk Lesbians out. They were working my last nerve AGAIN. Why do they think it’s ok to stand around bootie dancing to COUNTRY MUSIC all over the dance floor. I swear it’s like an obstacle course out there.

There were also a couple of them that were stumbling drunk all over the dance floor, running into people. Andy really needs to just throw them out when they get like that. If I was him, I’d be throwing people out left and right.

There was a scary guy in a red hat that was creeping me out. He came over and said he would really like to dance with me whenever I get a chance. I tried to put him off as long as possible, but then he started bothering Thomas to get me to dance with him. I danced one time with him and it was not fun. His shirt was so overly starched that it felt like cardboard and he was taking long jumpy steps. Oh and he was an aggressive back leader.

Later on in the night this girl comes over and says, “Excuse me sir (RUDE, she was older than ME!), I’ve been watching you all night and I was wondering if you would pleeeeeeeease dance with me.” So being the nice guy that I am, I said yes. It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t fun either. She had sandals on, so she wouldn’t go backwards and she stumbled a lot.

Why am I cursed like this? Never has someone come up to me and said they would REALLY like to dance with me, or that they have been watching me all night, and then end up being an awesome dancer. Nope, I always get the ones that can’t move.

The best dance I had all night was with Steve. I need to find me some more good leads because sometimes I really just want to zone out and follow.

Oh well, it’s time for me to shower and get to bed.

Something to say?
