I really wish I would update more on the weekend so I wouldn’t have to write these crazy long posts, but oh well… here goes.
Friday night was another night for me to relax. I had planned on going out, but didn’t. I watched The Witches of Eastwick, which was a lot darker than I had expected. I don’t like to watch movies with evil or satanic themes. It was an ok movie, but just nothing something I would normally watch.
After the movie I decided I wasn’t going to go out because my contacts were already getting all gross and gooey, and I knew if I went out in the smoke filled bar it would be torture… so off to bed I went.
I was awakened Saturday morning by my little’s mom calling me to tell me she had to cancel my play date with him because she forgot they had to go out of town for her niece’s graduation.
My sister called not too long after that to remind me to pick up her dog at daycare. Luckily she did, because her prior instructions said that Romie had to be picked up before noon, and when we verified it was actually 11. So I had to get dressed and get moving.
I met up with M.Lo after that to hang out at the pool. She’s always teasing me about being so white (what’s wrong with being white?) so I decided not to put on the sunblock (30spf) right away so that I could get a little color. Well, the sunblock never made it on, so now I’m a lovely shade of RED. Thankfully, I look good in red. We hung out at the pool forever drinking some kind of rum runner or something. The pool was practically empty all day, so it was nice and peaceful for us.
Afterward, I did laundry, ate dinner then went to Rainbow. Recently I shave off my facial hair and since then stubble has grown back. So of course, everyone was all shocked about the missing facial hair. A different type of people hit on me when my facial hair changes. Which brings me to, how is it that I managed to consistently get hit on by straight women at Rainbow?
I danced so much (when don’t I?) that my left leg was seizing up on me and wouldn’t move. I was on the dance floor and it completely quit functioning. It was honestly like I was dragging a limp leg around the floor. I could stand on it, but it wouldn’t bend or move much at all. Of course I kept dancing, because DJ was playing my favorite songs. It was at that point that I thought, “When I die, it will probably be on the dance floor because I’m too stupid to know when to stop.”
I’ve been trying to drink more water while I’m out (and no alcohol) to help out with the dehydration, but it’s not making too much of a difference. I wish they had Gatorade in addition to bottled water. I wonder if Gatorade makes those little packets especially for bottled water, like Crystal Light is doing. You just pour the package into your bottle water and shake it up. I also wonder if it was available, would I be able to use it at the bar without getting into any trouble.
M.Lo showed up at RCC with two friends of her, Jeff and Jacob, and they talked me into going to Charlies, which was a big mistake. We didn’t stay at Charlie’s very long before we went back to Rainbow for 10 minutes, then off to breakfast at Kerbey Lane.
I didn’t end up getting home until 4:30am. I was so freaking exhausted. Today I woke up at 11:30 and went to visit my parent’s for Father’s Day. Richard (my older brother) and Lulu (his wife) showed up an hour after I did. I spent most of the day down there hanging out and then came back around 5.
I also need to reschedule my play date with my little. Maybe we’ll hang out Thursday?
I’m currently sticking to my chair because my shirt is off and I’m covered in aloe vera. Sounds hot right?
