Ok, so I skipped the Gay Pride festivities entirely yesterday. I had planned on watching the parade with Eric, but he got down there before me and was over by Sidekicks. I wasn’t going to be trying to find parking over there, then trying again to find parking by Rainbow. So I just stayed home and watched Smokers Only. Isn’t that lame?
Anyway, the movie was weird. I didn’t really like it. There wasn’t any point to it, and it was incredibly slow with little dialogue. The only reason I watched it was to see Leonardo Brzezicki. He is painfully pretty, but it was not worth watching the movie to see him. I watched the last half of the movie on fast forward; it was subtitled so that made it easy to and still get what was going on. Yep, that’s how bad the movie was.
I went to Rainbow after that. It was busy in there, but not nearly as busy as I had thought it would be. I do hate when all the non-regulars come out. They get drunk and act like fools on the dance floor and get in everyone’s way. It’s a country bar, and the dance floor is made to dance, with couples going around the floor in a circular motion. It is not intended for crazy drunk fools (almost always Lesbians) to stand on and make out, then gripe when people bump into them. It gets real annoying when you can’t even get out there and dance because there are so many roadblocks (directionally challenged Lesbians) in your way.
Thomas and I slammed into these short fat Lesbians while we were dancing and they got all bent out of shape and later yelled at us that we were “RUDE DANCERS!” As if it was not their fault for being in the fast lane (the outside of the dance floor) standing still. Hello! Learn how the dance floor works before you get on it!
Regardless of all that, I still had a really good time. Eric showed up for a little while to hang out. He doesn’t dance though, so luckily he had his friend to keep him company while I danced, which was all night. All of my regular dance partners were so annoyed with the crowd and the idiots on the dance floor that they all starting leaving early. By 12:30 I was left with no regulars, until Larry showed up. So I danced two songs with him, then left.
Apparently I “saw” Javi and snubbed him. I never actually saw him though. I may have looked in his direction, but I never actually saw him. As if I would ever snub him, that’s just ridiculous.
My admirer showed up again. I didn’t see him until Thomas pointed him out. He must be loosing interest in me because he barely spent like an hour there before he disappeared. We passed by each other at the bar and he put his hand on my shoulder and said, “hey what’s up?” The next time I see him, I’m definitely going to talk to him.
I’m doing laundry right now and I’m on my last load. It’s already 86 degrees outside. What to do… what to do?
LISTENING TO: Dr Dre - Let Me Ride

WOOOF, thanx for sharing. Sometimes Gay Pride can be overwhelming, but fun, nonetheless.
I guess the older we get, the more challenging the logistics become.
WOOOF. you write a very hot blog. Thanx for sharing, stud.
