Isn’t it thrilling that it’s already Thursday?!?!?!
Last night was another lame night for me. I’ve become obsessed with my music collection on my laptop. I spent a large amount of time adding album covers to my mp3s and rating my music. I went to Target to buy the Selena Vive!CD, which was a mistake. I forgot that the Target I go to has the smallest “Musica Latina” section ever! It seriously consists of like 15 CDs, and it’s on the end cap of an aisle!
So I went to Best Buy and found the CD, and I’m sure paid too much for it. I’m still very upset that Paulina wasn’t on it. She had the best performance of that night! There’s a few good songs on the CD. I don’t understand why they have Selena on the CD. It was supposed to be a tribute, not her CD. There were so many performances that night, they could easily have done a double CD and included them all.
Javi was a sweetheart and he found me an MP3 of Paulina’s live version of Fotos y Recuerdos from the Selena Vive! show. I have been addicted to it ever since. I’ve only had it for less than a day and I’m sure I’ve listened to it already ten times. I’m hoping that her performance was cut from the CD because she’s going to put that song on her next CD.
This weekend I’m going to Corpus with Javi to his cousin’s wedding. I’m trying not to think about it too much, because you know I don’t like to travel… especially road trips. I’m sure we will have fun though.
