Last night I spent time bonding with my iPod Photo. I needed to set it up properly and fix the tags on a lot of my music, since iTunes didn’t read the tags like my other software. I also wanted to reorganize my photos before I re-uploaded them to the iPod. I also uploaded all of my contacts and some text files. Yays! I haven’t found (or even looked) for a Calendar program to use with it yet.
I realized there is not much good TV on Wednesday nights. I watched that Stacked show with Pam Anderson, and it was ok. I’d watch it again. I had to call Dell Tech Support on a issue I’m having with my laptop. That was a complete waste of my time because I got stuck with someone who didn’t know anything.
I could tell right away that he was not technical, then it was obvious he was reading from a solution tree and clearly didn’t understand what he was reading or doing. I really wanted to just say, “Can I speak with someone who is actually technical and familiar with laptops, and NOT someone who is only reading from a solution tree.” But no… I was nice and because of it my laptop is still not fixed. The idiot at Dell wanted me to reinstall Windows. NOPE!
The latop works great except that I can’t put it into standby mode because it says my modem won’t let it. I tried disabling the modem (I don’t need it) and then it tells me that COM3 is not letting the unit go into standby. Can anyone else help me with this? PLEASE!
Tonight I’m going to see Monster in Law with Javi, my sister, and maybe Gina. Yays! We’re going to dinner at Maudie’s Milagro first. It should be a fun time.
