This weekend has been exhausting… ok, not the entire weekend, just yesterday. Friday night I stayed home and watched movies by myself. I really needed the personal time to relax. I’ve been feeling really weird lately, like anxious and restless all the time and I don’t know why.

So I watched 200 American, Soul Plane, and Closer. I enjoyed all of them, but I have to say that Closer was my favorite. That movie was so good… weird… but good. Soul Plane was not as funny as I was hoping, but it was still pretty hilarious. Mo’Nique was hilarious in her role as the airport security. I really need to watch her stand-up routine.

Saturday Javi came over and we headed off to Gina’s party for Citlali. Of course, since I’m practically Gina’s personal assistant, I had to pick up stuff on the way. I had to go get the pinata, then stop and get sugar cubes, ice, the cake, and ice cream. When we got to Gina’s mom’s house we had to start decorating and setting up. Gina was at home getting the kids and the husband together.

This was the first party of hers that I didn’t really get to enjoy because I spent the entire time running stuff behind the scenes, like cutting sandwiches, setting up, doing the pinata stuff, and moving furniture. It was a good time though, because I enjoy doing stuff like that.

We were working on her party from about 11:30 to 3:30, then headed over to M.Lo’s party for Jessica. Of course, I had to stop and get stuff for her as well. Then Javi and I were in the kitchen making drinks for everyone for most of the beginning of the party. Luckily we didn’t have to do too much work and we got to sit around and enjoy some sun.

There were 11ish year old girls everywhere, and they are SUPER annoying. I don’t know why they couldn’t just leave us in peace… nope, they had to come over and try to be all giving us attitude and junk. And if you know me, you know I ain’t having any of that. I don’t care if they are just kids. One of them, an anorexic little witch, was getting all up in my face giving me attitude and threatening to dump cold bottled water on me. So I threatened to sling shot a kumquat at her.

She said, “My mother with sue you.” “Then I’ll just sue you back!” So she responded with, “What will you sue me for?” Then I got her with, “You’re right, what would I sue you for… cuz I sure don’t want the trailer you live in.” Snaps!

Later we were at it again and she splashed me with the bottled water. We were chasing each other around the pool. I finally caught her her and soaked her with ice cold bottled water as I yelled to her, “That’s what happens with you play with the big boys!” Unfortunately, Jessica snuck up behind me and splashed my back with water.” Oh, but I got her later when she was toweling off. She tried to call time out, but HA, there’s not time outs in war!

As Javi and I were leaving, Anorexia had to try to spar with me again. She was going on about how pink is the new in color for boys and that I couldn’t wear pink because I’m not man enough. So I said, “Well, that explains why you’re wearing pink then, cuz you’re all man.” She couldn’t come back to that. Oooh, I was so not playing with her.

Javi was getting on my case for fighting with 11 year old girls, but I couldn’t help it… those little witches were evil, and plus, they started it.

Saturday night I REALLY wanted to go out to Rainbow, but I was exhausted from all the house spent being free day labor, so I just watched a movie and went to bed. We watched Bedrooms and Hallways, which I found very enjoyable… weird, but enjoyable.

Today hasn’t been very productive. Got up late, went to get food, and then watched Lonestar State of Mind. It was a much better movie than I would have thought. The only thing that bothered me was Joshua Jackson’s annoying accent,

I’m doing laundry right now, trying to get everything finished before Desperate Housewives comes on.
