Let’s make this quick because Desperate Housewives is about to come on. Friday night is a blur… what the heck happened? Oh… it was movie night. Javi came over and we watched Shrek 2, A Home at the End of the World, and I Heart Huckabees. All three movies were good, but I have to say that Shrek 2 was the best.
Saturday I went to get a haircut and then met up with Javi at Guero’s for lunch. Bleh… I’m so against the Guero’s, but Javi seems to love it, so I went for him. It wasn’t bad, but I just don’t like the place.
After lunch we went to visit Sammy at his new place. What a cute little house he and Rose have now… and it’s not even in the ghetto!
The rest of the afternoon was filled with long nice naps. Yays! I could not get myself out of bed, I just kept sleeping and sleeping. When I woke up I started getting ready to go out to Rainbow. I really wasn’t in the mood to go out, but I figured I would perk up when I got there. Nope. The place was dead empty. I wouldn’t have cared if they had at least been playing good music. I would have enjoyed having the dance floor to myself. But no… Andy was playing sad two-steps and even sadder waltzes. No thanx!
So I went over to Oil Can’s to see Javi, which was mistake #2. I hate Oil Can’s and I loathe most of the people that go there. I didn’t last in there very long before I decided it was time to go home. I was in a such a mood at that point. I went home to bed!
Sunday I woke up late, rented some movies, bought plants at Home Depot, and spent the day gardening and watching movies. I watched Princess Diaries 2 and Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle. PD2 was dumb, predictable, and cheesy, but I still enjoyed it.
Harold and Kumar wasn’t funny. Someone lied to me. It had a FEW (and I do mean FEW) funny scenes, but overall it was boring. I kept wanting to fast forward just to end it. Maybe you have to be a stoner to enjoy that movie?
