Yesterday I tried to run up out of work at 3:45 (which is on time for me) and I ended up getting stuck here training co-workers until 4:10. Suck. I was so tired. I went home and napped for two hours and even then I didn’t want to get up. I watched some TV, but I didn’t really do anything interesting. I thought about taking down all the Valentine’s Decor, but decided to save that for Thursday night.
Before I left work yesterday, I got this e-mail from my boss: “the up and coming holiday 2/21/05 (Presidents Day) is an paid holiday. However, because your company does not recognize this as one of their holidays we will be expected to work. Good news is if you have worked 480 hours or more than you will be paid double time for this day. ”
Yays! I’ll be getting double pay on Monday! That’s going to be a nice paycheck.
Tonight is bowling. I’m going to try and go put in a quick workout when I get home, but I also need enough time to go to CompUSA to return my FM transmitter than really doesn’t work at all. I think we’re going to Pluckers tonight so we can use our $25 coupon that the owner sent me.
When I went outside for work today it was all chilly out. This Texas weather is out of control. Yesterday it was hot and today it’s cold.
