Gina ended up calling me and saying she was going to go out. Which was good, because I was already dressed and ready to go out. I was planning on going out anyways at that point.
I got there a while before them, and I did a lot of dancing. By then time they showed up, I was already all gross and sweaty.
I had a great time dancing and it was fun to dance with Gina. The first dance we did together was a slow Tim McGraw song. She asked me, “Why did you ask me to dance to this slow song?” I told her, “You haven’t danced in forever and I figured you needed to warm up… plus I’m auditioning you to see if you’re good enough to ask to dance again.” Shortly after that she said, “Who is this singing and will it ever end?!”
We dance a few more times though. We even did a couple of line dances, and some cumbia, which was a ton of fun. We couldn’t get the rest of her family out there though.
Today I woke up early today and went to visit my parents in New Braunfels. I made enchiladas… like SUPER lazy enchiladas. I’m not going to give away my shortcuts because they are shameful, but it was still yummylicious. I had brought my MP3 player with me and I loaded a ton of music onto my mom’s computer so she could put them on her MP3 player.
I left there around 3 and came home. I haven’t been doing much since then. I went grocery shopping and made dinner. I had to get everything ready and finish eating before Desperate Housewives came on. I watched it with Tomas, via AIM conversations. These conversations consisted of many lines of “OMG!”… because the show was SCANDALOUSLY delicious tonight… more so than usual.
There was this one commercial I saw tonight, for SAAB… it was so funny. It was this lady in a clothing store. She was looking at this dress she had just taken off the rack. She looks around and sees three other people, one wearing the same dress, one about to grab the dress, and one wearing a jacket with the same pattern. Two of them look at her, she looks at them, she puts the dress back on the rack like she’s embarrassed, and then some text about making your own style comes on the screen. It was hilarious.
I like the Diet Pepsi commercial with P.Diddy arriving at some awards show in one of the trucks, then all these other celebrities start driving Diet Pepsi trucks. So funny, but P.Diddy’s ego is already way out of control, do we really need a commercial emphasizing how people copy everything he does?
So I was watching the Grammys after Desperate Housewives and Tim McGraw was on singing and I started wondering why people always say I look like him. I don’t dress like that, my hat is different, and I would never wear most of the shirts he wears, and even if I did, I wouldn’t pair them with dress pants. WEIRD! Anyways, as I’m thinking this, Tomas messages me with, “ur lookin hot on tv.” It never ends.
