Last night was pretty boring. I talked on the phone a little and watched a lot of television. I was still feeling a tad sick, so I decided to take it easy. I had almost completely lost my voice, so talking was not very enjoyable. I worked a lot on ripping my CDs to my hard drive.
This morning I got up early and continued with the process of copying the CDs to my computer. Then went to pick up Ryan for our hair appointments. It’s fun having a haircut buddy. Going to the salon is always so enjoyable. It’s nice sitting around chatting and getting pampered a little. My haircut went fine, just like normal.
Rebecca (my hair goddess) talked Ryan into straightening his hair, after he mentioned he wanted straight hair. He was a little nervous and scared at first, but once she started doing it, he was excited. It came out so freaking cute. I mean, it’s super odd seeing him with straight hair, but it’s very cute. Although, I will admit that I loved his little afro. Ever since I was like ten years old I’ve wanted an afro, I don’t understand why someone would want straight hair.
Elizabeth (whom I know from Rainbow) had an appointment right after mine, so she got there just as Rebecca was finishing up Ryan. I got to sit and chat with her, which was the first time we’d ever seen each other outside the club… or as she said, “In full lighting.”
After the haircuts we went to lunch at PF Changs. I loves the Mongolian beef!
Then we went shopping. Ryan went all kinds of crazy with the shopping. I think he could have bought Etheopia for as much as he spent. We had a good time though… even though he is the super pickiest and won’t try wearing anything new and colorful.
The mall was extra crowded today, like traffic backed up for miles kind of crowded. I only ended up buying three pairs of socks. I am very excited about them though. I’ve been needing some nice thin but long tight elastic socks for wearing with my cowboy boots. Most socks don’t have enough elastic in them to stay up with all that dancing and there is nothing worse than a sock bunching up in your boot while you are trying to move you bootie. Anyways… Express had some tight over the calf socks that will work perfectly for me. YAYS!
After the shopping, I dropped off Ryan and came home. I finished up ripping all of my CDs to my computer! Yays! I now have 7025 songs on my hard drive and my MP3 player. I’m so excited to finally be finished!
I took a short nap, and now I’m just about to start getting ready to go out tonight. I wasn’t going to go out, but then Gina called and said her gay uncle was in town and wanted to go to Rainbow, so they were going to be out. Well, I can’t miss a chance to go out with Gina. That woman NEVER goes out.
Hmm… I am thinking they might cancel though. I called her a little while ago to see if they were still planning on it and she said they were debating. I asked her what they were debating and she said she was pretty sure they were going to go, but she’d call me back.
Oh well… I guess I better get ready anyways.
