Today was a good day at work. Of course I did get to sleep in an extra hour this morning (because I called in an hour late) so I was in a much better mood. Today was a busy day, but not a crazy stressful busy, more of a nice easy steady busy. I actually enjoyed it.
Last night was bowling. We went to dinner at Hyde Park Bar and Grill. Our waiter was seriously way past adorable. I ordered a fried egg sandwich and a Makers and Coke. I got the fried egg sandwich and the Makers, but no Coke. Mmm… a big glass of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. That stuff was powerful, the fumes alone were choking Michelle.
I bowled pretty good. I got a 141, 143, and a 122. That’s an average of 135, which is 10 points above my average! Yays for me! We won all three games, which was pretty shocking.
I decided to skip on working out tonight. It’s just too cold. I don’t want to put on shorts and a t-shirt and go sweat. Nope! I had a salad today for lunch, so that’s practically the same thing.
So get this! Ok, you all know my drama with the Post Office and my missing Jimena CD, right? Sure you do! Well today I got an e-mail from Tower Records saying they had credited my account for the CD, minus shipping costs. I was a little baffled because I hadn’t called to ask for a credit. I knew what had happened! I called Tower and they said the the CD had been “returned to sender”. Which was kind of upsetting because the post office assured me multiple times that they would not return the package to Tower. RUDE.
So I had them ship out the CD again. I hate the POST OFFICE! So then I go home and check my mail and I have a letter from Jose and it’s in one of those Postal baggies that reads “The enclosed was found loose in the mails or has been damaged in handling by the Postal Service”. Really? Does my postman hate me? RUDE!
Tonight I’m having dinner with my sister. We’re going to Chilis. Yays!
