It’s that time of year again. I am bowling to raise money for Bowl For Kid’s Sake, which been Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas’ largest annual fundraiser since 1983. Each year, we strive to get more and more of the community involved in putting teams together and collecting pledges. The money that is raised through this event goes directly towards matching children with caring, committed mentors.
Every year, representatives from small and large businesses, civic clubs, professional organizations, law enforcement agencies, firefighters, and schools participate in forming teams and raising money to help Big Brothers Big Sisters match more kids.
