I didn’t work out last night. My back was killing me. I could barely walk, and when I did, I walked like a pregnant lady. I was all waddling and in PAIN. I tried to do some back exercises to loosen up the muscle, and it helped for a while, but the pain kept coming back. I laid on the floor and watched Oprah. She had that adorable Nate Berkus on and he was telling about his horrible miracle survival ordeal from the tsunami. It was a very emotional show, and it seemed a little to early to be doing it.
Afterward, I did pretty much nothing but talk to friends and then lay in bed reading. Today my back feels better, but it’s still hurting a little. Tonight is the last week of this half of the bowling season. Next week the scores start over again from zero. We do have a chance of making it into the finals. If we win all three games tonight, and the other teams in our division don’t win more than three points, then we make it. The chances of that happening are highly unlikely. I’m not trying to be a pessimist, but we’re playing against a good team tonight, and Vicious Bitches (also in our division) has not lost a game since Nov 16th. There’s always a possibility though… and I’ll be keeping optimistic about it.
Ok, I figured out the chances of us winning tonight. If everyone on our opposing team bowl exactly their average, they will get a score of 864. If everyone on my team bowls exactly our average, we will score 852. So we would lose by 12 points. Which means my team has to bowl above average and their team has to suck tonight for us to win. A 12 point margin is pretty close, it’s still possible.
Not sure where we are eating yet, but I’m excited about it!
