Friday night Ryan came over and we watched Spiderman 2. Ryan thought it was dumb, and I thought it was ok. I generally don’t like the superhero movies because they are so dark, either in material, or shot in the dark a lot. I don’t like movies that take place mostly in night scenes. They bother me and they feel depressing.
After Ryan left, I just surfed the web for a while then went to bed. I wanted to get up kind of early to go shopping. I did get up early, but I didn’t go shopping when I woke up. I wasted some time chatting on line with Leo and making a mix CD for my shopping trip. So I was driving all slow trying to enjoy my new CD as I was shopping. Instead of slamming on the gas at the yellow lights, I stopped all early so as I could enjoy my jams.
It’s crazy out in the shopping world right not. I will not make the mistake of venturing near any stores again until after the Christmas season and the “return/exchange season” are over. I can’t handle these psycho crowds. People loose their mind when they are shopping, all running around like they have to get the last PS2 or they will DIE. I get all stressed out just watching people flipping out in the stores. Not too mention these crazy long lines. No ma’am. I’m not one to wait in line for anything. Don’t you know who I am?!?!?!?
After I got home from shopping I just hung around wrapping more presents. I think I am finally finished. I know I keep saying that, but I really think I am.
I’m posting pictures because I love the presents so much.
I was having wardrobe issues so Curtis and Mikeal helped me (via the internet and pictures) get things sorted out. I originally had too much blue going on and Mikeal helped me tone it down a bit.
I love that hat and was beyond excited that it matched perfectly to the shirt that I just bought. I NEVER get to wear that hat, so yay for new outfits! I love to accessorize!
Sammy came over at 8:30 and we headed off to Aaron’s party. I had a lot of fun there hanging out with Sammy, Andrew, and Adella… oh and Aaron’s mom. She was adorable. Speaking of Andrew… I’ve always thought he was a little adorable, but since he got his haircut all short he is GORGEOUS. I was seriously in awe of how beautiful he is. BLUSH. My friend (you know who you are!) is interested in him, so I didn’t flirt AT ALL. I was a good boy because you just don’t do that to friends. That’s wrongness to flirt with on someone your friend is interested in.
Adella was hilarious. We had a great time judging everyone and whispering on the staircase. She’s very dramatic and totally the kind of woman that would seriously stab you if you pissed her off. I love that in a woman!
We left Aaron’s party and went over to Rainbow. I had a great time, and was surprised that I could two-step so well in the shoes I was wearing. I’m going to have to dress non-country more often now that I know I can dance in shoes other than cowboy boots. I like to spice it up a bit!
We hung out at Rainbow for a while, then went over to Oil Can’s and did a quick run through. We ran into Tomas and Warren on the way out and ended up going to Rain with them. I wasn’t very impressed with Rain. It looks just like a continuation of Oil Can Harry’s, and the dance floor was WAY too small. I needs room to move! I also didn’t like there music… I guess it’s kind of good that the music sucked because it keeps the dance floor from getting too crowded. ![]()
Sammy and left shortly after that and we stopped by Taco Cabana on the way home to get some Red Fanta. THEY WERE OUT! How do you run out of FANTA??? I was seriously disturbed. I took a shower when I got home and I could barely stay awake.
Today I got up early and went over to Gina’s to help out with Maya’s first birthday party. I went with Gina to get groceries for the party, then dropped her off and went to pick up the cake, then started decorating the room and setting up. I was basically her personal assistant for the day. I was with her from 12:30 until 5ish. I had a good time though. Sylvia showed up so I hung out with her while Gina was cooking and running around trying to keep everything under control.
That house was insane with all those kids running around and screaming. I couldn’t handle that scene on a regular basis, I would have to start handing out beat downs to some children. There was entirely too much fighting and screaming. Anyways… I took pics and I will share, cuz I’m friendly like that. Gina had bought the cutest cake EVER. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more beautiful and original cake. It was made out of 25 cup cakes, but it looked like one large cake.
I’m just hanging out now, waiting for Xoch to come over to watch Desperate Housewives with me. I think we’re going to exchange Christmas presents tonight because she’s leaving town for the holidays and I probably won’t see her again until after Christmas.
