Work wasn’t so bad today. I was pretty busy in the morning, so that made it go by kind of fast. I kept busy somehow in the afternoon, even though I was kind of avoiding work. After work I went to Smith and Hawken. I ended up buying an orchid. I bought an Oncidium (Rosey Sunset). It’s not in bloom yet, but it has about 100 buds just waiting to bloom. Also it has some stalks that are sprouting, so it will bloom several times. YAY! Totally worth $29.99!

I ran into my downstairs neighbor at the grocery store. He got in line right behind me. Ugh… I go to extreme steps to avoid every one that could possibly want to speak to me when I go out in public, and he has to get all up in my lane. I pretended like I didn’t notice him, even though he was right behind me and all crowding up on me. So then I went to Hollywood Video and who should show up there after me? THAT NEIGHBOR! Again, I pretend like I don’t see him, but he can’t play along like a good neighbor, NO… he has to speak to me.

So we start chatting and I ask him about that incident when he caught his balcony on fire. You remember that don’t you? When I hid out in my apartment and pretended like nobody was frantically knocking on my door, there wasn’t a fire blazing below me, firemen and a fire truck weren’t outside, and all of that. Anyways… turns out he wasn’t even home. He had put a cigarette in a PLANT and then left the apartment. The plant caught on fire and then the wall. Another neighbor happened to see it and climbed up (he’s on the second floor, I’m on the third) and put it out using BEER.

Do I like in freaking idiotville? COME ON! Anyways… I promise to be more cautious when fires erupt in my building, especially now that I know what kind of people live around me.

Ok, so I’m just hanging out at home right now, about to have a drink, and waiting for Ryan to come over so we can have dinner and watch a movie. Woot Woot!
