I went out last night to RCC and met up with Steve and his friends. Steve had asked me earlier if I was going out, and then convinced me to… which didn’t actually take much convincing.
The bar was kind of empty, which was good because that meant more room for us on the dance floor! I danced a bunch in the beginning of the night. I was having a great time. I had worn my burgundy eel skin boots which I rarely ever wear. I had forgotten how slippery they are. I was sliding all over the place. It was seriously dangerous.
I drank lots of bottled water. I rarely ever drink when I go out now. I have to drink lots of water to stay hydrated, or I wake up the next day super sore and miserable.
Today I woke up early and went shopping with my mom and my little brother. We went to the mall so that Jimmy could look at Oriental Swords. Mom was surprised by the salesboy standing in the entryway of Abercrombie with no shirt, sock, or shoes on. I explained to her that they do this in all of their stores everywhere.
I’m surprised that they are still doing this, especially when they are already being sued. They are being sued by employees for only hiring and putting white people up front in the store and putting all the assorted other colors and flavors in the back. WRONGNESS! Seriously can’t believe stuff like that is still going on in 2004!
We went to Crate and Barrel afterward. I can’t get enough of that place. I have yet to buy anything from there, but I sure do like to look.
We went to Old Navy next and on the walk there I saw this guy with glasses and and eye patch. My first thought was… “Ooooh, how fun! He should get a monocle! If I was missing an eye, I would SO get a monocle for the other one.” Then this grandma in a Chevy Yukon tried to run me over as I crossed the street. She didn’t even slow down or anything! Granny was trying to get sued!
I bought some cute winter type shirts for myself. I need to go back in December and use my $10 gift certificate. Afterward we stopped by Taco Hell and then came home and ate lunch. Then mom and Jimmy left and now I’m updating LJ.
Then END.
