Since yesterday afternoon I have purchases a new laptop and Christmas presents for four people. I’m super excited about the shopping!
I tried to go home and take a nap, but it just was NOT happening. My phone was ringing like crazy. There was lots of drama with the wedding programs that I have been working on for Rey and Sylvia. I finally gave up on the napping and decided to get up.
Then I decided to do some Christmas shopping! I asked my sister-in-law, Lulu, to go with me. I went to pick her up and stopped to get my sister on the way. We went to Zingers first. I love that store. I bought some Jelly Beans and a vase… because clearly I need more vases.
We went to Crate and Barrel next and I bought a wedding present for Rey and Sylvia… well, I bought it for Gina to give to them. I haven’t bought them a wedding present from me yet. Afterwards we went to Jason’s Deli for dinner and then finished up the shopping at Old Navy.
It was a good night of shopping, and I got a lot of ideas for presents for other people. I may go back to Crate and Barrel tonight to get some more things.
I really did not want to come into work today. This is going to be a long horribly boring day. Oh, and we were supposed to get paid today and we didn’t. BASTARDS! I bet we won’t get our checks until Monday.
