I wish I had updated more frequently this weekend so that this wouldn’t have to be so long. However, I was really lazy so you’ll have to forgive me for boring you if this ends up being an extra long entry.

Friday I was supposed to go to my brother’s for a game night. I was going to meet Gina for drinks beforehand and we were going to go together. I went shopping while I waited for Gina to get ready. I talked myself out of buying lots of things because I really need to save up for a laptop.

Well, my brother called and cancelled game night because his friends didn’t feel up to it. I called Gina and cancelled. I ended up hanging out with Andrea and we went to dinner and went shopping at Target.

I was supposed to go to a party at Rose’s, but I was so tired. I went home and went to bed at a very early hour. It’s quite sad actually, but oh so true.

I got up earlyish on Saturday and did some gardening stuff. I needed to repot some plants and I decided to go ahead and move some of the plants inside before the weather starts getting too cold.

I watched the rest of my Wonder Woman DVDs and now I am sad that there are no more. When are seasons 2 and 3 coming out? I hope it’s really soon!

I went to dinner with Brenna and her “boyfriend” at the Bitter N and then we went to RCC. We were there way too early and they had this charity show going on that was being put on by the United Court of Austin. Wow, I couldn’t think of a more talentless unattractive group of people. Seriously, I don’t know how these people win titles.

Brenna and Ben left around 11, and I was tempted to leave as well. I wasn’t having the greatest time just yet.

Thomas was there and he and I danced a few times. He’s a pretty good dancer. It was nice to have someone to dance with other than Joee and Juan. There weren’t many regulars out, so I didn’t have many dancing buddies.

I was just about to leave when one of Kirby’s friend’s showed up. He wanted to dance, so I hung around for a bit. I’m glad I did, because Kirby showed up shortly afterwards. We danced a few times and talked about going over to Chain Drive to see the Heart of Texas Bears competition thing, or at least catch some of the contestants.

Fernando showed up just a short while before I left. I danced with him twice. I guess we’re friends again.

Anyways… Kirby and I went to Chain Drive and it was some serious scary in there. I have never ever seen that place so crowded, and I hear that earlier in the night there was a line to get in. WEIRD. Oddly enough, I saw quite a few people I knew in there… and thankfully they were fully clothed.

I just don’t understand those guys (the kind that hang out there) have this fascination with only wearing a thong and a harness. Serious… thongs in public are not for everyone. Niether are chaps and thongs!

We actually stayed for a while and chatted with James (from bowling) and David (ex-make out partner of a certain younger fag that I know). We stayed until closing when were were RUDELY shouted at and told to leave.

I took Kirby back to his car and we talked for a bit. The we decided to go for breakfast, so we went to Taco Cabana. After breakfast I took him to his car again and then went home.

Sunday I got up early again and I went to pick up Andrea and we watched The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and had chips and chili cheese dip. I had never seen the entire movie before, only tiny bits and pieces. I sure do love some Dolly Parton. I need to see if that movie is on DVD so I can buy it.

We went shopping at Target AGAIN and then I took her home. I’ve been doing laundry ever since. I SO HATE doing laundry.

I am very proud of myself for not spending a ton of money this weekend. I did really well about not spending more than I needed to. I talked myself out of buying so much stuff. Instead, I paid off two credit cards. That is FREAKING exciting!

Ok, that is all folks.
