Saturday I went to lunch with Xoch at Maudie’s Milagro. We had the combo fajitas, and they were pretty good… our waitress, however, was not. Was she just teasing when she offered to bring more water? I do believe so. Did she disappear for like half and hour, when we really just wanted to get our check and leave? I do believe so.
It was nice outside, so I didn’t mind sitting on the patio and hanging out. Xoch, was not enjoying it as much because she had left all of her clothes in the dryer at the laundry mat. Yeah, not too smart. So she was all in a rush to get home. I hope her clothes were still there… actually she would have called me screaming if they were gone, so I’m sure everything is fine.
I came back home afterwards and watched my new DVD, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. I haven’t seen it since the movie originally came out, like ten years ago. I enjoyed it, and I’m glad I paid all of $5.95 for it. GREAT DEAL!
I chatted on line for a while afterwards, then headed out to Rainbow Cattle Company. I had a pretty good time, but I was so off on my dancing. My left thigh was totally cramping and seizing up on me. I was in pain and I couldn’t keep up with anyone on the dance floor, of course that didn’t stop me. I just kept on dancing, and then I would have to hold the rails as I walked off the dance floor because I was scared I was going to fall down. I could barely walk, and I was limping.
I danced a lot with Kirby tonight, which was awesome. At one point I seriously thought I was going to pass out because we were dancing and my leg was cramping so hard and he (Kirby) dances incredibly fast. I made it through one song and was ready to die, then we didn’t even make it off the dance floor when he asked me to go again. I was so worried that my leg was going to give out on me and I was going to fall and bring him down with me.
After that song ended the DJ played the song that Kirby had requested for me, so I had to dance again. I swear I thought I was going to die. I seriously thought my leg might just fall off. As were dancing to the requested song, he says, “I really love this song, and it’s a really long one too.” I couldn’t help but laugh and feel cursed.
I made it through the dances without falling or dying, but I was limping HARD afterwards. Thankfully DJ played a bunch of line dances, so I was able to take a break without missing anything good.
Right around 1:30 Kirby asked me to go to Oil Can Harry’s with him, so we made a run through. We didn’t stay at OCH long, because like always… it sucks.
We went back to RCC and danced some more. There were a lot of people out tonight that I knew. Larry and David were there. James, Ron, and Troy from the bowling league were there.
I had a great time dancing with everyone, even in spite of the bum leg. I ended up leavin around 2am.
