Yesterday was a busy day at work, but I finally got a lot of my backed up work done. Yay me!
After work I went home and napped for a bit, then came back to pick up Andrea. We went to Target to kill time before dinner and bowling. We always go to Target, so it’s getting kind of tiring. Anyways… we had a purpose this time. We were going to get her a heater fan for her desk.
She’s always complaining about being cold. I swear it’s because her heart is a block of ice. It will probably melt now and she will die. I will miss her.
We shopped all over Target. We went to look at Christmas decorations. They didn’t have everything out yet, so it wasn’t THAT much fun.
Oh, we also saw this large man bending over pushing his shopping cart around. Like, seriously, bent over leaning on his shopping cart with his butt hanging out the back of his jeans. It was hilarious.
After Target we met up with my sister at Suzi’s for dinner. Apparently it is policy at Suzi’s for all the ladies to have Yeti eyebrows. The food was ok. It’s no PF Changs, yet it cost more. We should have just gone to Changs.
We finished dinner way early, so we went to Crate and Barrel. It wasn’t nearly as busy, yet there will still plenty of the homosexuals in there. I ran into two more people I would have like to have avoided. It was a cursed night.
Ok, so we went to bowling next. How do we keep ending up bowling next to Brian and Mel’s team, otherwise known as the smoke factory? Our table is covered in a dark cloud of poisonous smoke. BLECH!
Anyways… the team we played was active and chatty, just not with us. They had like 30 people there hanging out watching them bowl. Where were our cheerleaders?
Anyways… this team was new so they didn’t have their handicaps figured, so we don’t know if we won or lost any of the games. I’m thinking we may have won one game, but lost all the rests. Ryan didn’t show up because he couldn’t miss the election results. Apparently watching an undecided presidential race is more important than bowling with your friends.
The team we played also took their time. Since we had one person missing, we were frequently behind them and therefore they should have been bowling on both lanes at the same time, yet they did not. So that caused us to get out of there much later than we should have. You know that annoys the crap out of us. We all love our sleep way too much.
Anyways… I must get to work. Hopefully today will go by really fast because I am tired.
