Yesterday I worked late again! I have worked past 5 every day this week, resulting in over 10 hours of OT this week. BLECH!
Andrea came home with me after work, she invited herself over to watch TV with me. It’s cool though. I’ve been meaning to make enchiladas for dinner for a while now, but I hated the thought of going through all that work for just one person.
So I made enchiladas, rice, and beans for dinner and it was a lot of work. Usually I take the easy way out and make like an enchilada lasagne kind of thing, but last night I did it the hard way which consists of making the sauce, boiling it, then soaking the corn tortillas in the sauce, then putting the cooked meat (which is still hot) on the boiling sauce soaked tortilla, then rolling it up and putt it in a pan. Yes, it’s VERY hot and hard on the fingers… and slippery.
Anyways… I made the meat a little spicier than I had intended, but it was still yummies!
We watched Joey, which was mildly funny and I hope it continues to get better. I will be super sad if it gets cancelled. Will and Grace was pretty funny, and I’m surprised that Debra Messing is still looking so fat faced after having her baby. She also had a very noticeable gut in that formal she had on. Interesting…
The Apprentice was pretty good, but not as nail-bitting suspenseful as it usually is. I was sad that John got fired. I’m always sad when the pretty people have to go. I thought Raj should have been fired, but he wasn’t going to take Raj in with him because they are buds. The challenge was a bit unfair, considering they had to design a women’s clothing line and sell the outfits to buyers. The women had a CLEAR advantage. I don’t understand why the men couldn’t have made men’s clothes. I think they were trying to skew the competition so that the women would finally win one… and they did.
After the show, I took Andrea home, then went home to bed. I’m in a great mood today because I will be off from work this coming Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and I’m only working half day on Thursday! Woot woot! My birthday is on Monday so I will be celebrating ALL WEEKEND! I’m so excited!
Ok, I must get back to work now!
