Work was grueling yesterday. I took a ton of calls and had so much paperwork and stuff to do. I spent most of the morning building and Access database, which is fun, but it was also a lot of work. I sent an e-Mail to my coworkers, Andrea and Dan, to look at it and let me know what they thought… but they never did. I hate them.
After work I went home and napped because I was so drained. Tuesday was just a long day for me, but at least it wasn’t as stressful as Monday. BLECH! I napped for about 30 minutes, then my home phone rang twice. Nobody ever calls me on the home line, except solicitors, so I rarely answer it.
Turns out that it was my friend Lynn looking for me. She was calling from Italy to chat and I missed her calls. I had left my cell phone in my vehicle and was too lazy to go get it out because I knew I’d be leaving the apartment again soon.
She ended up calling back again right after I picked up Andrea from work. I felt bad talking on the phone with her and ignoring Andrea, but I hadn’t talked to her in months and she was calling from Italy and it was like 1am over there, so OBVIOUSLY she needed to talk.
We met up at Pluckers for dinner. Steve, Myshil, and Ryan met up with us as well. My ex-wife’s ex-boyfriend is a manager there. This is the ex-boyfriend that she was dating when we got married, the one that was working at The Naked Grape (homo bar). On the morning of the day we got married he closed the bar and him and some employees came with us to be our witnesses at the Justice of the Peace. Good times.
After dinner we went to Cavender’s Boot City to kill time before bowling. We had fun walking around making fun of the tacky western clothes. I made Andrea try on a few things that had me laughing so hard that I was crying. Shockingly, Andrea and Ryan both found things that they couldn’t leave without buying.
Ok, so on to the bowling. We won two of our games and lost one. The first game we lost by 94 points, the second we won by 8 points, and won the third by 28. We didn’t win the match though. They got overall pins, so we got 4 points and they got 3. At least we got more!
I did ok. My average is 114. The first game I bowled 110, then 153, then 128. So as an average, I bowled over my average. We played a team that was kind of quiet, but they were nice. They actually sit and read the paper between their turns! What is that about?
Michelle and I had brought cameras, so we were taking pictures of people.
