Yesterday, after work, Andrea and I went and did a little shopping at Bed Bath & Beyond and Borders. We were actually just trying to kill some time between work and dinner. We met up with Michelle at 7:15 for dinner at Jason’s Deli.
After that, it was off to bowling! The first night of the season was chaotic. All the teams hadn’t been formed yet, and the lanes hadn’t been assigned. So we were all kind of standing around waiting on all of that to get sorted out. Once it did, the fun began.
It was nice seeing everyone from last fall season. I think this season is going to be a ton of fun. There’s a lot of fun people on this league, and lots of new faces too. Although the cute factor is still really low.
We won the first game and the second game, they won the third, and we won the match. We get 5 points and they get two. Michelle bowled an average of 100, which is 19 points above her normal average. Ryan bowled an average of 98, which is 7 points above his average, and I bowled an average of 134, which is 8 points above my average. Andrea established an average of 89.
Tonight I’ll be at my company picnic. I hope it’s not horribly lame.
