Friday was kind of a boring day. I was wondering why I had taken the day off. I had lunch with Ryan at El Mercado. He took his fish home and I took a nap.
I went to dinner with Andrea and Brenna at Mongolian Grill downtown. I wasn’t all that hungry, but I still managed to eat way too much. We went back to my place, Brenna threw Andrea out the car and sped off to meet some boy, so Andrea and I watched Die Mommy Die! again.
Later on I went to RCC and it was kind of lame. I didn’t hang all night, only until about 12:45. DJ was playing some sappy music and I wasn’t dancing much, so what’s the point in staying? I did make plans to meet up with Juan tonight at RCC for the Salsa lessons. I’m going to learn to follow since I already know how to lead.
Saturday I slept A LOT and then went to my parent’s house to meet up with them and my brother and his wife, who was recently imported from Mexico that morning. It was the first time I had met her and she seemed pretty nice, and she was actually kind of cute.
Saturday night I had planned on going to RCC after I got up from yet another LONG nap, but Sammy called and invited me to meet up with him and Rose at the Long Branch so that I could meet Rose’s new man.
Oddly enough Xoch happened to also be at the Long Branch with some friends. Again proving just how small this town really is. I hung out there for a while then went off to the RCC to do some dancing.
I swung by the 1920’s club and picked up Aaron. I danced a lot last night and Steve ended up being there as well. I had a good time dancing with everyone and hanging out. Again I made the mistake of wearing a shirt with snaps and within five minutes of entering the club it got ripped open. Then later someone else ripped it completely open. NEVER AGAIN!
I stayed until they played the go home song, which was pretty blunt… I believe their go home song is “Happy Trails”. You can’t get more obvious than that.
Right now I need to shave and get dressed right now to go meet my brother and his wife, and my sister and her man at Baby A’s for dinner.
