Yesterday I was addicted to working in Macromedia Flash. At first it was super intimidating because it is such powerful software. I’m starting to get the hang of it though. I did “create” some things in it yesterday. I’m still not very good at it, but that will come with time.
After work I napped for a long time because I had a horrible headache/migraine. I thought that nap would get rid of it, but it was still kind of lingering afterwards.
I met up with Steve and Troy at Rainbow for some dancing. I had a pretty good time dancing with Steve and Juan. The music was not that great and the crowd was thin, but it was good enough.
The DJ kept playing depressing slow songs. I wonder if he had just broken up with someone? Why else would you do that? It was like all slow songs and line dances all night. I don’t know many line dances, and I can’t keep the beat to slow songs, so I didn’t dance.
I don’t know why I can’t find the beat to the slow songs. It’s horrible! I just can’t dance that slow, it’s torture. I had to let Juan lead for all the slow songs. I actually danced with Juan a lot.
I told him earlier in the night that his project for the night was to ask me to dance FIVE times. That boy never asks me to dance. He says he likes dancing with me, but he never knows which songs I like.
I had to break if down for him. I told him that when Xoch and I go out, we NEVER leave the dance floor. If I have someone to dance with, I will dance all night long. I will dance through cramps, blisters, aches, broken legs, everything… It doesn’t matter.
I left before last call because things started winding down and the crowd was thinning out even more. Also, Steve had already left.
Today I got up late and I’ve been yakking on the phone with Xoch and then Brenna. I’m also doing laundry. I’m hoping Ryan will come pick up his fish today. The sound of running water is driving me crazy.
Tonight I’m going with Xoch to the Red Fez to see that lady that I’m not a fan of sing. I call her Headof Payne. But tonight is probably going to be really funny and I don’t want to miss it.
