Well, I have to start off the story of my weekend by admitting to being weak on Friday. We all know my powers to resist Leo are not strong. He messaged me during the day, trying to be sweet, and convinced me to go see him after work.

I went over to his place to hang out, we watched a little bit of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (yawn) and then went to dinner at some Mexican restaurant with Vallarta in the name. It was actually pretty tasty food, and I would go there again. We talked about lots of stuff over dinner, and it was nice just chatting with him. It’s times like those that I remember why I like him so much.

I like boys that I can have conversations with, and boys that are funny. Like when we were talking about a certain someone that a certain other someone is dating, Leo said the guy was old. I asked how old and he said, “Well, let’s just put it this way; he’s not younger than you.”

That should be insulting, but I do respect a good insult. That’s part of the boy’s appeal, he’s evil and witty; I like that. I need a boy that knows how to fight back. Boys that give in to me, and let me make all the decisions, won’t ever make it. They think they are being nice and sweet, but it comes off as weak to me.

After dinner we went back to his place and napped for a while. Then we went to Blockbuster to rent Along Came Polly, but it was out and we ended up renting one of the only acceptable things left, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton. The movie was simple and predictable, but good enough entertainment for a lazy Friday night.

Anyways, after the movie Leo had tons of energy and wanted to clean, and I was tired (it was 1:30am), so I just went home to bed. It’s such a long drive from his place to mine. I didn’t think I would make it without falling asleep, but I did!

Saturday

Saturday morning I got up late and then went to do a little shopping. I got on my way and reached in my pocket to get my cell phone and call Sammy. The phone rang before I could dial out, so I ended up talking to Xoch for a while.

Sammy beeped in and I told him that I’d call him back. I talked to Xoch for a bit, then Jorge beeped in and I told him that I’d call him back too. I talked to Xoch some more, and then called Sammy back. Sammy didn’t answer, so I called Jorge and we talked for almost three hours as I shopped and drove back home.

We had so much to talk about, which is so odd considering that when we were together we had nothing to talk about. We talked a lot about the past and the future. He asked for advice and I gave plenty of it because everyone knows I love telling people what to do.

He asked me a lot of personal questions like and none of those were questions that I was too thrilled about answering. I’m not going to lie to the boy, and he could tell by my avoidance of the questions what the answers were, so I just fessed up. He took it rather well, although I did try to be a little nicer than I should have.

Later on, Sammy came over and we hung out and had a drink on the patio. We met up with Rose at Korea House for some dinner. They had sushi and I had teriyaki chicken. Sammy and I were laughing at the horrible grammar and punctuation on the menu. Such as the item that was described as “shrimp, baby, octopus, vegetables and rice.” Umm… Can I get that without the baby? I don’t eat people, thanx.

Although Brenna and I had this theory that they sell black market Asian babies at the restaurant, so maybe that item is used as a code for buying babies? Our theory came from the time we went there and there were like 10 white couples eating in the back (hidden behind screens) all with their Asian babies. It’s all a little suspicious to me.

So after dinner we met up with other people at Club Deville for cocktails and party conversation. Sammy had quite the little turnout. Rose, Aaron and Paul, Netta and male person, Kelly, Laura, Jana, Keith and Andy, Iris, and some others that I forget.

We hung out at Club Deville for a while then ran over to Chain Drive for a bit. Only Kelly, Jana, Sam, Rose and I went. There wasn’t much going on over there and it was just as freaky and weird as it always is. I got molested just walking in and up to the bar, which was gross.

Upon walking out to the patio, the girls overheard someone at table in the front say, “Here come the sluts.” How rude is that? They really don’t like women at the bar.

We ditched on Chain Drive, dropped Jana and Kelly off at Jana’s car, then Sammy, Rose, and I went to Kerbey Lane for breakfast. There was this horribly loud table of drunks next to us that apparently had no idea that other people were in the room. So many people in this world have no manners.

Sammy slept on my couch.

Sunday

Sunday we got up late and had a nice lunch at Manny Hattens, did a little shopping at Best Buy, hung out for a bit, then he went home. I did laundry, and then took a nap.

Later on, M.Lo called and we made plans to go to dinner. She came over and wanted to go to Hula Hut or Carlos and Charlie’s. I don’t like either of those places, and I didn’t feel like traveling that far, so I suggested the Oasis. I’m not sure that was a much better choice.

We had a drink, nachos, and queso and each ended up spending $20. How is that possible? The nachos were not that great and they used hole beans instead of refried. Who puts hole beans on nachos? That’s the dumbest thing ever because they just keep rolling off the chips.

It was pretty out there though. We had a nice view of the lake from where we were sitting. After dinner we went over to the other side of the place to check out the salsa band. We were going to do some dancing, but they had some “professional” group doing a performance.

Let me just say, that group sucked. I’m sure half the people there could have danced better. Having been in a “professional” dance group before, I can easily recognize when someone is just doing the steps, but not really feeling it. They were all just going through the motions but not really dancing. The choreography was interesting and fun, but the performers just didn’t get into it.

It was also kind of odd because there were four couples and only two guys. The other guys were played by really butch looking Lesbians. The group looked very familiar to me, and I know that I have met some of those members before, but I can’t place where.

Anyways… so we went back to my place and hung out on my balcony having a drink. M.Lo wanted me to take some pics of her to send to some boy in Dallas, so we played around with the camera for a bit. We took some good shots of her and then did some work on them in Photoshop.

This is the view from out table. Very nice isn’t it?

This was a view from nearby our table.
