I got up early, futzed around, then went to get my haircut. Rebecca (my stylist) is hilarious and is always saying the most inappropriate things. She took me to the back to wash my hair (before she cut it) and right as she turns on the water she says to me, “Yeah, this underwear has got to go. I’ll be back.”

So then she comes back and tells me how her husband likes her to wear this underwear, but it rides up her ass all day and just isn’t comfortable. I’ve been going to her for 9 years now, so I guess she feels comfortable with me.

She starts to cut my hair with one of those electric razors and pretty much finishes up the back and then says, “Oh did I tell you that you’re getting a short haircut? It’s summer, you need it anyways. It’s too late to do anything about it now anyways.”

I was cracking up. I don’t usually tell her what to do with my hair anyway, I just sit down and she has at it, so I didn’t care.

Sarah (the receptionist) made me a mimosa, so I was sipping on that while I was getting my haircut. There’s nothing like starting your day off with a mimosa or a bloody mary. Yum.

After the haircut, I went to my sisters and we (her boyfriend too) headed off for lunch. We went to Manuel’s and Jorge met up with us.

After lunch everyone split off on their own ways and Michelle and I went shoe/bag shopping. She needed to find stuff to match a dress she was wearing to a wedding in June.

We went all over town: Nine West, DSW, Legs Diamond, Cream, Manju, Urban Outfitters, By George, Fetish, Creatures, Black Mail, Pink, Goody Two Shoes, Therapy, Gossip, Emeralds, and Giada.

It was while walking to Pink that my sister stepped in a dead bird on the street. How she didn’t see that, I’ll never know. Needless to say, we were both thoroughly disgusted, and she had flip flops on. Blech!

She found some shoes at Emeralds, but we never found a bad to match. We didn’t see many nice black clutches while we were out and about.

While going to Emeralds I saw Corey crossing the street. This would be the cute Corey that I see at Rainbow sometimes.

We stopped over at Giada on the way home, just to check it out. Guess who happens to work there, Corey. He’s not so cute anymore, and not because he works at Giada, but just because he’s not. People just seem so different in the bar.

Anyways… so I dropped her off at home and I went home to take a little nap. That sun sure does suck all the life our of me.

Now, I’m just waiting on Gina to call me to meet up for drinks at Trudy’s. It’s not one of my favorite places, but she’s one of my favorite people, so I’ll go. Sammy (one of my other fav people) is supposed to meet up with us as well.

Maybe I’ll end up at Rainbow tonight. It seems that’s where everyone wants me to be. I’ve already been asked by four different people to go.

Ok, that is all for now.

Something to say?
