I did end up going home during lunch and staying home. I got into bed and just stayed there all afternoon. I had messaged Leo before I left to tell him I was going home sick, and to see how he was. He messaged me while I was in bed and wanted to know if I wanted any company.
I told him to come on over. I left the door unlocked and got back in bed to sleep. A little while later I was awakened by him kissing me on my cheek. How sweet is that? He didn’t stay nearly long enough, probably only about a half hour. But that was super sweet of him to come all the way out there to see me.
After he left I went back to sleep until about 4:30. I went to have dinner with Lynn at 6 and we hung around the restaurant chatting for two hours. I think I’ve decided on two new career options and I’m pretty excited about them. I’m going to try and get started on them right away.
I went walking later with Kristi. We both needed the exercise. We made some plans as well, and I talked to her about my new career ideas. She seemed to think they were pretty good choices. Yay me! I’m so excited about the future possibilities now!
PS: I’m wearing my new tractor belt buckle today. It’s the cutest.
