I had such a good workout yesterday. I went right to the gym after work and started working out on my own. I did a lot of the machine weights and watched some pretty lame stuff on the TV.
Kristi joined me and we went for a walk/jog on the 3M trails. I had no idea they had such great trails. I mean they really have fun trails over here. There’s a nice trail that goes through the woods and has all kinds of fun stuff to look at, and a cute little bridge, it was awesome. We decided that we are definitely going back to run those a lot, and especially on nice days.
After the run we headed off to get dinner. We stopped at Subway for grub. Kristi was in front of me in line and the guy making the sandwiches asked if we were together. Kristi jokingly said, “No, I’ve tried, but he won’t have me.” He then went down to the register to ring her up, and that’s when the manager came around and took over. He asked the same question, and Kristi gave the same answer again. She was totally working the sympathy, so the manager gave her an extra stamp and said, “Since he won’t have you, I’ll give you an extra stamp.” It was pretty funny.
(HAHAHAH! They just said on the radio (KASE 101 Country Station) that the song, Redneck Woman, was the most downloaded song on www.walmart.com. Yeah, like that doesn’t seem totally fitting.
Bowling was a lot of fun. We tied in our first game, but then won the next two. So we ended up getting six out of the seven possible points, and the other team got one point for the tie. I spent a lot of time sitting at other teams tables chatting, and planning for the summer league.
I’m trying to make sure all of my favorite people are playing on the summer league. So far it looks like most of my friends will be. I’m trying to help them merge teams and find other players, because some of them are too shy.
Ok, so after the game, Irene (the ex-wife) called me. She wanted me to go meet her downtown. I had to remind her that I have a job and it was almost midnight. So she said we should have lunch today. I somehow don’t see that happening, there’s no way she’ll get up early enough to have lunch, she already sounded pretty drunk.
Anyways… I went home and got right in bed. I was pretty tired.
