I was so exhausted all day yesterday. I went home during lunch and took a nap, then went home right after work to take another one. I just couldn’t get enough sleep, which is partially why I’m at home right now. I had to sleep in a little!
Kristi came over before bowling so we could have a drink and chat, then we went to pick up Rupert and Chad. I was surprised that Rupert was going because he’s missed the past two weeks and owes a lot of money. You have to pay, even if you don’t show up.
Actually I’m surprised the two of them (Chad and Rupert) even continue to bowl. Both of them complain about it every week. I know that if I ever go to that point, I’d just quit.
Anyways… it wasn’t as much fun for me last night because I was SO tired. I just didn’t have the energy to bowl. There also weren’t any of our favorites teams bowling near us, so I had nobody to be crazy with… other than Kristi.
We ended up loosing two of the games, winning the third, and winning the overall match because we had knocked more pins down than the other team. We only managed that because they were missing a team member in the first game.
I think Chad got upset with me last night. He saw me writing a phone number down on a piece of paper and he asked who it was for. I told him that it was a secret. I was really just writing down my company 800# for Kristi because she’s going to Mississippi for a week.
Chad even saw me hand it to Kristi, but they are so suspicious that they always think we’re up to something. Rupert said something like, “So that’s why he keeps walking down to there (the other end of the bowling alley).” When really we only walked to the other end a few times and it was once to get a soda, then to order fries, then to pick up the fries and beer. Duh.
Anyways… So I called in sick this morning and I’m doing laundry right now. I’ll probably go in to work around noon, after I finish laundry and run to the store to get some things.
