Kristi and I left after work to head out for our night of shopping. We stopped at Urban Outfitters first, to get our shirts for the party on Saturday. We’re going to be so way past adorable! Next we went to Waterloo Records to get tickets to the Tim McGraw thing at Auditorium Shores, and then it was off to SoCo.

We parked at the Austin American Statesman and got bussed to El Sol Y La Luna. We walked the entire strip up and down. We didn’t stop at too many stores, but we did spend a lot of time in Allen’s Boots. Kristi found some jeans she liked for the party on Saturday.

I found a buckle that I absolutely love, but I couldn’t justify spending $98 on it. I really want it though!

SoCo wasn’t as crowded as I thought it would be. There were lots of people out, but it wasn’t crowded by any means. Austin certainly has the most varied people. I love that about this place. It’s nice seeing all the different kinds of people out co-mingling.

After we walked the strip, we decided to walk to PF Changs for dinner. We got in a lot of walking last night. By the time we finished, we had walked 2.5 miles (I mapquested it this morning). We totally earned that meal! We split Mongolian Beef, Sesame Chicken, and Chicken Fried Rice (with no veggies).

I also had a Black Martini, and it was delicious! I have to remember to try to make that at home. It’s only got the two ingredients: Chambord and Vodka.

We didn’t end up getting home until 10:30ish, but we both had a lot of fun.
