Last night Sammy came over after dinner and we went to go eat at Lone Star Cafe near Lakeline Mall. Neither of us had much energy or drive, so it was kind of a slow night. We hadn’t seen each other in about a week and a half, but miraculously, we didn’t have too much to catch up on.
Sammy brought me back the coolest shirt from Chicago. It’s a lime green bowling shirt with felt lettering and pins on it. It’s the coolest. I think it says Bowling Sport Review on it. I’m going to wear it to bowling tonight with some green corduroys and some ugly retro sneakers. FUN FUN! I’ll be sure and take pictures.
We both ate too much. Why do their portions have to be so big and so yummy? And why does everyone have to use skin in their mashed potatoes. I HATE that. NO SKIN!
Afterwards we went back to my place and sat on the balcony for a bit and chatted, then he went home. I thought I was tired enough to go to bed, but somehow I got some energy and stayed up yacking on the phone with Lynn and then Gina. I made plans to hang out with Lynn on Thursday and Gina tonight before bowling.
I have been kind of neglecting the friends lately and I need to get back on track. Lynn just moved back here from Chicago and she won’t be around too long. I think she may only stay in town for about 4 months, then move to Italy to study photography. I should go take some pictures with her and learn as much as I can before she leaves.
That is all for now!
