I really don’t feel like updating right now, but I’ll do it anyway.

Friday night I went to the mall with Noe. He wanted to buy something to wear out that night, so I decided to do the same. I ended up buying shoes, a belt, sock, and a shirt. How did that happen? I wasn’t even really in the mood to go out and I ended up buying practically a entirely new outfit.

After we left the mall we met up with Kristi, Chad, and Rupert at El Mercado. It was a nightmare in there. Everyone was stopping to eat there because traffic was at a standstill in the area due to a gas leak nearby. The staff was completely unprepared and not handling it well.

The manager was off schmoozing with some people in a private party, and the hostess was trying to seat people and take to-go orders. That’s just insanity. To-go orders should be done at the bar, where the bartenders happened to be just standing around doing nothing. So meanwhile empty tables were waiting to be sat at, while the hostess was busy running to-go orders.

I had put my name on the waiting list and I was the first person on the second page. After about 45 minutes I noticed the manager start looking at the second page and he was seating people from it. He had skipped my group 4 times before I finally got mad enough to go say something.

I walked up to the hostess counter, and stood waiting for a manager or hostess for about ten minutes. Finally the hostess came back and I grabbed the clip board, flipped to the second page, pointed to my name and asked, “How much longer until I get seated, because I’ve already been skipped four times.” Then before she could answer, I pointed to a big booth in the back and said, “And I want that table there, right now.” She didn’t argue, she seated us right away.

After dinner Noe and I went out to Rainbow Cattle Company. I didn’t dance with anyone, we just kind of hung out. After hanging out at RCC for a while, we headed over to Charlie’s. It was pretty crowded and I was getting annoyed at people scuffing my new shoes. I will never wear these out to Charlie’s again. They are too cute for that dump. :)
I ran into David on the patio. I don’t know if it’s just that I notice it more now that I’m with Noe, or if it’s always been like this, but why do I run into so many boys that I’ve dated when I’m out with him? David looked nice. His hair is curly and all grown out and he’s gained a lot of weight, but it looks good on him.

Sam showed up long enough to have a drink, then he split. Noe and I dance quite a bit, but we were both tired and ended up leaving around 1am.

Saturday I got up and went to my hair appointment downtown. I had originally had an appointment for 9:45, but didn’t want to get up that early, so I got a standby appointment for noon. I love my salon, and everyone there, so I don’t mind hanging around chit-chatting.

After the salon, I went home for a bit, then headed off to Target to shop for some plants and some other things I needed around the house. Noe came over a little after I got home and he watched TV while I planted and cleaned up. Later on Chad and Rupert invited us to go to dinner and to see Monster, but I wasn’t really up for seeing that. I think I’ve changed my mind about that movie. It’s too graphic and violent for me.

They invited us to go to dinner with them at Chili’s, but I wasn’t really up for that either. I had just planned on lounging at home with Noe watching Lost In Translation. Then, shortly after I hung up with Chad, Noe said he was hungry, so we headed out to get something to eat.

Having said Chili’s earlier, put Noe in the mood for Chili’s. I felt bad having told Chad that I didn’t want to go, but we were already out, so we just stopped and had dinner at Chili’s anyway. During dinner Noe and I discovered some more people that we both know.

Anyways… as we were eating dessert, we saw Chad, Rupert, Kristi, and Omar come into the restaurant. I knew we were going to be in trouble. I knew Chad and Rupert would be mad that I turned down their offer to go to Chili’s and ended up there anyway. The even sat right on the other side of the wall from us, but they could see us.

I contemplated whether I should say something to them or not. We could have just left and they never would have known, only Noe thought Rupert saw him. It would be just like Rupert to see us, not say anything, and then wait until after we left to make a big deal about it. He’s all drama like that.

So I reached over the wall and tapped Kristi on the head, then later went over to talk to them. I assume everything is cool, but you never know.

After dinner we (Noe and I) went back to my place and watched Lost in Translation. I didn’t care for the movie too much. There’s not much point to it, or story. It’s like watching a really boring episode of the Real World. I ended up starting to fall asleep halfway through it, so I just went to bed.

Sunday I got up and went to the grocery store to get some things for my mother, then went to meet Sam and Rose for brunch and some vegetarian restaurant, although nobody warned me it was a no meat establishment. When I ordered my egg and cheese omelet, the waitress asked me if I would like anything else in my omelet and I asked, “Do you have ham?” She looked at me like I was insane and said, “No meat.” Oops. But then, doesn’t egg count as meat?

After brunch I went to visit my parents and hung out there for a bit. I washed my vehicle in the yard, then went shopping at Target with my mom. I bought a new CD, Josh Turner - Long Black Train. It’s very good! I highly recommend it.

Noe came over around 6ish and we invited Kristi over. She ordered pizza and I made pasta, then we watched Under the Tuscan Sun and ate dinner. We all liked the movie a lot. It was much better than I had though it would be. I really had no desire to see if when it was in the theaters, but something made me want to see it on video.

Today has been busy, which is why I took so long to update. I need a nap tonight, but I’m stuck here until at least 5:30 because Robert is out and I switched schedules with Dan.

Something to say?
