Last night was another gay bowling night. I had gone to the apartment office after work to sign my lease, then went home to nap. Chad and Rupert picked me up around 7 and we went off to the bowling alley. Kristi couldn’t make it because she’s stranded in Hawaii at the airport.
I actually had a lot of fun bowling. We got a sub for Kristi and he was really good. His handicap is 14, and ours are closer to the 70s and 80s. We actually won all three games, and hopefully that will help us claw our way back to the top.
During the last two games we had some wagering going on. For every strike that Chad got, Rupert had to work one hour (Chad is his boss) without pay. For every strike that Rupert got, he would get one hour off with pay. All spares counted as a half hour. Then Chad told him that for every strike I got, Rupert could have an hour off.
I didn’t like that. I told Chad that I should get to pick what consequences my strikes have, and I want my strikes to make Rupert work without pay. Well, I’ll be damned if I didn’t start bowling much better once it meant I could make Rupert have to work for free.
As I told him, “This game is fun now because it’s not just about winning, it’s about ruining your life.” By the end of the three games, we had racked up 10 hours for Rupert to work, without pay. I’m sure it’ll never happen because Chad will let him off the hook… he always does.
Noe showed up to watch us bowl. I’m glad he did, because I won’t see him tonight. He was even being a little talkative with Chad and Rupert, which is quit shocking since he’s always so quiet.
I’m making dinner tonight for Sammy. I have no idea what to make, but I’ll figure something out. I’m tired too… I need a nap.
Oh, I got a check in the mail yesterday from the CD MAP Antitrust Litigation that I signed onto. It wasn’t much, but it’s almost enough to buy a CD. I think it was for almost $14. I honestly don’t think this $14 makes up for all the over priced CD’s I have purchased over the years, but still… it’s free money.
Oh, and I look like crap today, and I feel it.
