I went to Target after work yesterday. I picked up everything I needed, then went over to Home Depot to get the new power cord for my dryer. I was a little nervous about removing the old one and installing this one myself, but after talking with the nice lady, it didn’t seem so hard.
I got home and did just that. It wasn’t hard at all. In fact, it was super easy to remove the old one and install the new one. I started to get my laundry ready and realized I had forgot the vent tube at my other apartment.
So I had to make that drive over there, and it was rush hour traffic time, so it took me about 30 minutes to go 7 miles. I was super annoyed, but I had to do my laundry!
When I got home I worked on the laundry while watching Friends and Will and Grace. “N” showed up around 9pm, we watched TV for a while. Kristi came over pretty late to drop off a house warming present. She got me a hydrangea plant. She’s so sweet.
I really wanted to take a nap last night, but by the time I had finished running all my errands and starting my laundry, it was 6:43. I wasn’t about to miss Friends, so I decided to take a quick 15 minute nap.
Did that happen? No.
Like always, as soon as I start to nap my phone rings. I received three phone calls in that short time and didn’t get to nap at all. Bitter I tell ya, bitter.
Tonight I am determined to finish up my new apartment. I’m going to hang everything up and just get it over with. I need this to be done so I just chill and enjoy my weekend.
