Life is beautiful and I’m in a great mood these days. I’m in a fabulous new apartment, I’m dating a wonderful guy, and things at work have calmed down. It’s a new year and it seems to be heading in the right direction. I’m going to enjoy these moments to the fullest.
Yesterday I went home and worked on clearing all of the empty boxes out of my new place. I had to break a bunch down and I filled up about 15 trash bags with Styrofoam peanuts and newspaper. I took all the trash to the dumpster and this lady in my building took all my boxes. I helped her carry them over to her apartment. I’m glad they are getting good use.
After that I vacuumed, cleaned up, rearranged a little, showered, then headed off for bowling night. We ate at the bowling alley because we were running late. I was in such a great mood all day. I had a song (You Promised Me by In-Grid) stuck in my head all night and I was thoroughly enjoying it. I was dancing around in my seat, standing up, and singing to myself.
I even bowled pretty darn good. The first game I got a 144, then a 120, then another 120. Kristi bowled some awesome games. I think she got a 77, then a 139, then a 156 or something like that. She bowled two of her best games ever. Usually the girl is lucky to break 100.
We bowled next to the Lesbians and Wade’s team. It’s nice to be around teams that actually like us. It makes bowling so much more fun. I was having so much fun cheering for our team, the Lesbians, and Wade.
Today I went to my old apartment during lunch and packed up my plant etagere and some plants. I have about three loads to do. I probably shouldn’t have left for lunch because we’re down from 5 people today to 2. Dan was out a doctor appointment, Robert called in sick, and Dale is in meetings all day.
I was just hoping that if I did a run during lunch, that would cut down on my time tonight. Then about 50 minutes after I got back, the cable company called and said I needed to be home for them to install my cable.
So I rushed home and while I was there I unloaded the plants and the etagere. So now I can just go directly to my old apartment after work and get another load. I think I may just done one load tonight, and finish the rest this weekend. Oh, I need to remember to clean out the refrigerator.
I’m guess I spoke too soon about life being wonderful because I’m on hold with SBC because I need to cancel my service. I called to have my phone and DSL moved over to my new apartment and then I found out the my new apartment’s lines are owned by Grande and those two don’t cooperate with each other.
DRAMA!
So I don’t think I’m going to mess with the service at all. I’m just going to ditch the home phone. I’m not messing with this stuff. I’ll just get my DSL through Grande. This is so annoying.
