Last night was our gay bowling night. I had so much fun! I don’t think I’ve had that much fun bowling in a long time. It was so much fun that I didn’t even mind losing the first two games. The other team was actually being really nice to us too.
Maybe the tide is turning and people will start liking us again? Or maybe we just hit a batch of really unfriendly teams for a while?
Kristi came over early last night and we did some shopping in the Arboretum. I didn’t find anything that I had to have. Then we went to PF Changs to pick up a to go order. I had ordered chicken fried rice without vegetables.
Did I get it that way? NO.
We got home and my rice was full of vegetables, and mushrooms. I tried to pick them all out, but it just wasn’t happening. I tried to eat it anyway, but it tasted like carrot, bell pepper and mushroom. No.
So we called Changs back and went to pick up a new batch. The parking lot was horrible. It took us forever to get in an get parked. They threw in a Great Wall of Chocolate dessert for messing up my order. I didn’t think we’d be able to finish half of that desert, but we pretty much ate it all, and it was darn good!
I bowled really bad the first two games. I didn’t even break one hundred. Kristi wasn’t doing so well either. Rupert was out sick, so we got his average minus 10% for him. That 10% less is what killed us. We lost both games by less than 10 points.
Kristi got kind of a little buzzed and was all crazy, but it was funny. A boy from another team came over and invited Chad and I to his birthday party. He had the cutest invitations with little horses and sheriff badges.
I stayed home from work today. I wasn’t feeling well, and I was actually exhausted and needed the rest, plus I wanted to spend some time packing. I did do a lot of packing, but I didn’t get a lot done. It takes a lot of time to wrap those damn vases just right. I got two and a half boxes done.
Well, I should get back to packing and making dinner and packing.
