Yesterday was a hard day. I couldn’t stay awake at work. I went home and went right to bed and slept for a little over an hour. I woke up and had to rush to get dressed and drive over to pick up Chad and Rupert to go bowling. Kristi had plans, so she had to meet us at the bowling alley later.

We went to go find some Mexican restaurant that Chad wanted to try, but it was closed. So we ate in this weird little Chinese restaurant that was kind of pricey for what it was. You could tell the place was trying to be classy, but they just weren’t achieving it.

My first tip for them would be to removed the plans growing in clear glass jugs. Pots really aren’t that expensive. Tip number two would be to put all of their boxes and supplies out of customer view. Tip three would be to get saucers for the plants in pots, and get rid of the bowls under them.

The food was pretty good though.

Bowling was actually fun tonight. We played a team that was actually nice and friendly with us. It’s been a while since we’ve had that kind of action. Lately the other teams just kind of ignore us, or glare at us.

We bought raffle tickets again. Every week I say that we shouldn’t, because we always lose, and every week lose anyway. This week James asked me to draw the winning tickets, and we STILL lost. Our luck could not be any worse with this raffle. We need to cut our losses.

We won the first game last night, but lost the second two. My bowling, as usual, was very inconsistent. I bowled 140 something the first game, then 80 something in the second game, then 120 something in the third. What’s up with that?

And can I say that I HATE bowling last?! That puts all the pressure on me. In the last game, we were 17 points behind when my turn came up. My team tells me that I need to get strikes. Ok, thanx for putting the pressure on. Then as I’m going up to bowl, I hear them saying things like, “You can do it!”. Yeah, more pressure was exactly what I needed.

Well, I didn’t end up getting strikes, and we lost by 3 points. I hate that!

Something to say?
